Building on their ongoing collaboration and individual work to produce two key summer festivals, Day of the Ancestors: Festival of Masks and PowerFest, respectively, the goal is to leverage their combined organizational energy and connections along with that of the other organizations that host festivals to build positive perceptions of the community and a larger number of advocates for increasing quality of life in this area of the city.
The LAShouldKnow campaign enabled the community to share their voice and share their stories as a community to create positive change.
